B2 TeCS' VirtualFile document management platform is perfect for enabling the ad hoc sharing of knowledge and documents across multiple, geographically dispersed individuals and workgroups in an efficient manner. However, some applications require more structure than an ad hoc process can support. For those instances, we extend the capabilities of VirtualFile using VirtualFile/db. VirtualFile/db has all the ease-of-use features of the standard VirtualFile offering, but is integrated with a full-featured commercial database management system to enhance query, reporting, maintenance and security capabilities.
